George Shaw
MD, PhD, CTO
Responsible for the technical and scientific development of Sense device, Dr. Shaw shares a unique vision of improving care for emergency medicine patients. He provides the clinical structure and the highest standards for experiment methodology and data analysis.

Joe Korfhagen
Vice President of Product Development
As Director of R&D, Joe focuses on developing the Sense device and enhancing the technology driving the product. Joe’s career goal is to create medical devices that will improve the standard of care for patients suffering from neurological disease.

Matt Flaherty
MD, CCO
Dr. Flaherty practices general neurology with an emphasis on stroke care. He is a prolific author in the area of cerebrovascular disease and was awarded the Michael S. Pessin Stroke Leadership Prize by the American Academy of Neurology in 2009.

Paul Gaitan
CFO
Paul Gaitan is a seasoned CFO with experience most recently with Haag-Streit USA and Workhorse Group. Paul earned his BS degree in business from the University of Southern California and his MBA from Stanford University with a concentration in production control systems.

Sara Keegan
Director of Clinical Operations
As Director of Clinical Operations, Sara oversees pivotal trials across multiple sites for the devices Sense is developing. Sara brings 18 years of clinical research experience managing multi-center, national trials. She holds BAs in Biology and Psychology and an MEd in Health Promotion and Education.

Jack Kraeutler is former CEO of Meridian Bioscience, Inc., whose distinguished career includes more than 45 years of experience in the biomedical industry. He has held numerous board positions, and was also an appointed member of the Ohio Third Frontier Commission and former vice-chair of BIOSTART.

Carol Warner is a finance professional with significant experience in the Dayton region start-up community, including investments of the Dayton Development Coalition sponsored venture funds. Her career included over 20 years with AT&T and its subsidiaries.
